Where can shop towels be used?
Shop towels can be used wherever hands, machinery, furniture, and equipment
has to be wiped down because of dirt, grease, or grime.
Rental shop towels reduce waste.
Concern over hazardous waste and the availability of landfills has increased
the value of the reuse and recycle properties of shop towels. A potential
long-term liability risk is significantly reduced by renting shop towels.
Reasons to rent.
We assure our customers a continuous supply of clean towels. The need
for a large storage area is eliminated. Towels are color coded to indicate their
end use i.e., orange for grease applications, blue for inks and solvents.
Shop towels vs. paper towels or rags.
Shop towels are more absorbent than paper towels. Quite often 5 to 10
paper towels are used to complete a job that one shop towel can handle.
Buying rags can be a gamble. Not all rags are absorbent. They also
are not uniform in size and the threads from the frayed edges may become tangled
in moving parts. Disposal of paper and rags becomes an environmental
concern that you the consumer must deal with. Rental places the burden on
the supplier.
